Former Assemblymember Barbara Alby passes away

Dec 09, 2012

It is with sadness we announce that a former member of the Legislative Women’s Caucus has passed away.  Former Assemblymember Barbara Alby was the 57th woman elected to the State Legislature and we remember her with fondness.  She was a tireless advocate for the safety of women and children and her legislative legacy is still felt and appreciated by families today.  Below is an article from the Sacramento Bee that provides great insight into Ms. Alby’s political career.

We send our deepest condolences to the Alby family.
